I asked yuuki, who is one of my class mate at CM that "if you could engineer your child, would you do so? why?"
she said "no" because she don't want to controll child's personarity and characteristics.
I was surprised. I want my child to be always healthy. Then, I asked her "don't you want your children always healthy?"
she answerd "If my baby have any handycap, I will accept"
I learned there are many people who have many idea and I think her idea is very good!!

i agree with your idea that many people have many different ideas. maybe,it's not fun if everyone in the world has the same idea.

I can understand your feeling. If my child was borned to be handicapped, I do not deny that I would be shocked.
But what I think is having child's own identity is worth more than having healthy life. Maybe this is not my fixed idea, so that it can be changed. I am propably worried that if I engineer my child genetically, I may be distroy some of characteristics of my child.
As Shinichiro has said, listening to the other's opinion is so interesting and benefit to us.
