Q1 how did this exercise help you improve your communication skills?

I didn't do the presentation in last class but I learned many things. First is interview skill. Though I interviewed in Japanese, it was very difficult because answers were different one that I expected. Other people's idea were very intersting! Second is thinking about communication skill. I am very very very bad at speaking in front of people. So I prepared visual effect (for easy understanding, using a lot of color in poster or bringing example of GM foods) to cover my bad speaking. I learned not only speaking is important for presentation.


Q2 what advice can you give classmates about poster design?

Classmate's presentation was very good!! I don't think I can speak fluentry like my classmate. And poster was easy to understand. However, many people incluging me wrote many words in thier poster. (I think the reason was we wrote question in the poster) If we use more picture or graph the poster will be better.

I asked yuuki, who is one of my class mate at CM that "if you could engineer your child, would you do so? why?"
she said "no" because she don't want to controll child's personarity and characteristics.
I was surprised. I want my child to be always healthy. Then, I asked her "don't you want your children always healthy?"
she answerd "If my baby have any handycap, I will accept"
I learned there are many people who have many idea and I think her idea is very good!!

I am interested in Genetically modified food because foods make our bodies. It is a new topic and has not proven whether it is safe or not. However, if Genetically modified food is safe and if foods spread, strong crops will grow and many starving people will be able to eat without difficulity.
